The colony technology at the forefront

Cova , a technology-forward company, joined the virtual event created for Colombia 4.0 in partnership with Ticket Code. In a special edition held in a virtual world created by the La Colonia Metaverse technology, a registered trademark.

For Cova , it has been a truly unique experience! Attendees enjoyed a completely virtual experience, in an event that had over 400,000 attendees, and featured 3 days of live.
Broadcasts in Spanish, English, and sign language. The event had 11 auditoriums, more than 80 stands, in which over 80 exhibitors gave talks and conferences on software and IT, with 16 connected countries. @colombianvideogamesassociation , in partnership with Ticket Code, was a part of this #MinTic event, powered by the technology of La Colonia Metaverse.

Who and what is Cova?

COVA Founded in 2018, COVA is a group of Colombian video games companies that have at its core a strong desire for collaboration between studios. COVA represents companies, and its main purpose is to help each of its members grow and achieve successful results.
COVA studios share experiences, best practices, and learnings in general, recognizing that a strong community is a key ingredient for a successful business ecosystem.

Cova: An industry that has found a strong foundation in the collaboration between studios, government, and academia. A handful of indie game developers, packing more passion than knowledge, decided to venture into the unknown and laid the groundwork for the studios that came after them.

La Colonia Metaverse

The colony achieved in record time the construction of a virtual world of more than 170,000 square meters, modeled.
With the vision of a team of architects focused on the construction of virtual worlds, 3D modelers, conceptual artists, front end programmers, backend programmers.
With the support of Google cloud platform, where in record time more than 150 people managed to create production of 11 live broadcasts, more than 150 3D virtualized spaces, multi-device technology and the support of more than 300 agencies in audiovisual production.
A platform created by the team at The Data Culture, with a focus on creating virtual worlds for a variety of exhibitors, where emphasis is placed on information, education, and culture.
The colony has a metaverse that aims to meet the needs of users, providing an unforgettable experience.
